By using the Skin Resonance web application ("the app") or purchasing access through the Skin Resonance website (skinresonance.com), you agree to the following terms.
What Skin Resonance is
A web-based audio application that generates guided frequency routines using binaural beats, solfeggio tones and ambient soundscapes, designed to promote deep rest and nervous-system calm.
What Skin Resonance is not
It is not a medical device, therapeutic treatment or diagnostic tool, and does not claim to treat, cure or prevent any skin or medical condition. The evidence base for binaural-beat and solfeggio interventions is preliminary and of varying quality, and is presented transparently on the Science page. Consult a healthcare professional if you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or a history of adverse reactions to audio stimulation, and stop use if discomfort, dizziness or any adverse reaction occurs.
Purchase and access
A one-time purchase at the price displayed at the time of sale grants personal, non-transferable access to the full app, all routines and features available at the time of purchase, and all future updates for as long as the app remains available. It is delivered as a web app (PWA) through any modern browser with Web Audio API support; no app-store download is required.
Payment processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe via a Stripe Payment Link. Stripe handles your payment information in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We do not see or store your full card details.
Refunds and your right of withdrawal
Because Skin Resonance is digital content delivered immediately, EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in French law) lets you agree to instant access in exchange for waiving the usual 14-day cooling-off period. You confirm this when you buy. Even so, we offer a simple promise: if Skin Resonance isn't right for you, email hello@skinresonance.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.
Data and privacy
No account is required and no personal data is collected during app use. Session history and notes are stored locally in your browser via localStorage only and are never transmitted. Newsletter subscribers’ email addresses are stored by our email provider for updates; you can unsubscribe at any time. See the Privacy Notice for full detail.
Hearing safety
Binaural routines require headphones. Start at a low volume and increase gradually. Reduce the volume or stop if you experience ringing or discomfort.
Intellectual property
All content, design, code, audio algorithms, article text, icons and branding are the intellectual property of Sophie Kazandjian EI (trading as Sophie’s Bureau). No reproduction, redistribution, resale or reverse-engineering is permitted without written permission. Sharing links to the site, trial pages and journal articles is welcome.
Availability, changes and liability
The app and site are provided on an as-available basis, and these terms may be updated from time to time. Our liability is capped at the amount paid for the product.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, and disputes are subject to the courts of Nîmes, France.
